Miss Sonia is a wonderful woman who's kid toe the line and are very respectful of others............food is made to order so expect to wait a bit........the rewards are worth it I always make it a point to eat there at least once every trip.........hand made patties are huge and will do for a meal .........

This road side hotel is a little gem. We totally loved the patties which are freshly prepared after ordered. Although the service takes time, you can be assured you are getting freshly prepared food.

Amazing patties at a cute roadside stand. He had the chicken, I had the veg. The patty dough was the best we had in negril, light and crispy. It was so good we had to have seconds! Grab a cool red stripe while waiting for your patty, it makes the experience so much better. We ended up walking down the road while waiting for our patties and met folks roasting their own coffee. Perfect patties and a great afternoon.

Sonia's place is a little smaller now but her heart is still as big. We got to meet her daughter-in-law this trip which was cool. We can't do real hot spice so Sonia makes us up a batch of brown stewed chicken without all the peppers. The flavors you taste are amazing.

We ate at Miss Sonia's twice: once for brunch, once for dinner.She is such a sweetie and the food is terrific, made fresh, exactly what you want, to order.After brunch our bill was J$ 1600: she didn't have change for a J$500 so gave it back with a pay "You can pay me later"...how good is that?If you go to Negril you have to to Miss Sonia's, opposite side of the street to Rooms, south of the Jungle.
